On 4 October, the Textile Museum in Borås will open the exhibition Sven Fristedt – Master of Patterns.
Sven Fristedt is one of Sweden’s most renowned textile designers. Throughout his long career, he has created many of the distinctive graphic patterns featured in Borås Cotton’s collections. The exhibition brings together classic textile designs created for industrial production and unique pieces, alongside sketches and hand-printed textiles that offer a fascinating insight into his creative process.
The exhibition runs from 4 October 2025 to 5 April 2026 at the Textile Museum in Borås. Among those attending the opening is Jonas Unenge, CEO of Borås Cotton Contract, who will share insights into the company’s long-standing collaboration with Sven Fristedt.
