Oeko-Tex at Borås Cotton

We are proud to offer our customers curtain fabrics of the highest quality that meet strict environmental and health standards. Our fabrics are certified according to Oeko-Tex, which means they undergo extensive testing throughout the production process to ensure they are free from harmful chemicals.

What does Oeko-Tex mean?

Oeko-Tex is an independent testing and certification system for textiles and raw materials. The certification ensures that no harmful substances are present in the final product. For a fabric to receive the Oeko-Tex label, it must meet strict limits for over 100 different substances that can be harmful to health.

Shared commitment to a sustainable future

By choosing our Oeko-Tex-certified fabrics, you can enjoy beautiful curtains while contributing to a sustainable future. Our fabrics undergo regular tests and checks to ensure they continue to meet the high standards of Oeko-Tex, without compromising on style and quality.

Together, we can reduce environmental impact and create a safer future for coming generations.

Chemical safety

We have a responsibility to our customers and suppliers to constantly work for a better, safer and ethical production. To guide us in this important job we have our Code of Conduct which is based on ILOs conventions for human rights and EUs chemical law REACH. At Borås Cotton we consider the environmental impact in the production, transport, use and disposal of our products and work to reduce our life cycle footprint.
