Ann-Cathrine Sigrid Ståhlberg graduated from the University of Textiles in Borås in 1988. After her education, she worked for many years as a designer for Borås Wäfveri and Borås Cotton. Today she freelances as a designer and has designed collections for Borås/Eco tapeter, Ekelund, Almedahls and Ikea. In 2002, Ann-Cathrine Sigrid Ståhlberg designed Birdland and Fägring Stor for Borås Cotton. Both are still bestsellers. Recently she has made two new designs inspired by her scholarships at Villa San Michele on the island Capri outside Naples.
Borås Cotton develops and markets interior textiles adapted for home public environments. “Art on fabric” describes our way of working and represents the connection between Borås Cotton’s tradition of keeping the freedom of the skilled designer at the center and high quality textiles.
